1. KEEP THE SKIN HYDRATED:
Be sure to keep the skin hydrated by adding more fibers and minerals to your diet, drink more water as we lose the wish to drink water in the winter, avoid long hot showers and bathing because hot water makes your skin dry by evaporating moisture and apply moisturizing body lotions.

2. BE GENTLE:
Use products which are formulated for dry skin that are mild and alcohol free to avoid further drying out of the skin.

3. TO LOCK MOISTURE AFTER BATHING:
Do not completely dry out your skin using a towel, gently pat the skin with a towel and immediately apply moisturizer on the damp skin to lock the moisture in your skin. Applying moisturizer immediately after a bath is more beneficial as the pores of the skin remain open that time, moisture seeps deep into the skin, keeping the skin hydrated for long.

Let the oil cool a bit and use it as it is. Apply the oil on the hair and scalp and leave it over night and if not then at least for an hour before head wash. Dip a cotton cloth in hot water and wrap it around the head. This helps the oil to seep in deep into the scalp and hair.
