My blog is all about noticing the joys of being a mother. The moment you find out you're pregnant, your world changes. You and your baby bump begin to face all the struggles of life TOGETHER. I'm going to write about 5 Common mistakes pregnant women make! Whether you're pregnant or not, This one would definitely help you out!
   Pregnancy is a wonderful journey, whether you are waiting to check if you're pregnant or if you're certain, the feeling gives you jitters and joy all over. Well, let's begin with the 5 Mistakes Pregnant women Make!

1. NO EXERCISE: Well, If you or someone you know are one of the lazy bees, THINK AGAIN. Exercise plays a very important role, It keeps you and your baby fit and even prevents unnecessary weight gain. I've noticed so many people who just complain about putting weight so fast. Exercise helps in combating stress, Keeping hormones in place and boosting blood circulation. Start exercising from the initial days and you will notice good health and moreover, a happy mood during most days!

2. NOT WATCHING THE CALORIE INTAKE: Eating the food for two people? A BIG NO. Your body needs around 1200 Calories and all that extra calorie intake will harm your body more than it will benefit your baby. Actually, you only need to consume about 300 extra calories for your baby. That's all it can eat! Eat 3 portions of raw fruit and vegetables everyday.

3. NOT TALKING TO YOUR BABY-BUMP: It's super rude to not talk to your baby. This baby is about to be your whole world..I know it sounds stupid but trust me, it makes the bond of a mom and the baby stronger. Pregnancy can be exhausting and super stressful. Talking to your baby can reduce the stress and remind you of all the lovely memories you're about to have with it. Not talking to your baby bump can transfer your stress and bad mood to the baby. Stay happy, read a few good books and your child is sure to be a bright bulb.

4. LACK OF SLEEP: A very must is a proper 8-10 hours of sleep. Sleep ensures you stay rejuvenated and stress-free throughout the day. Lack of Sleep can lead to serious health problems like Irregular heartbeat of you and your baby, Diabetes, High blood pressure etc. It's better to grab on a sweet sleep rather than face all of that.

5. NOT TAKING PROFESSIONAL HELP/SELF MEDICATION: Self medication is something I've seen most pregnant women do, Women just tend to grab the medicines they have in hand and toss them into their mouth. Being a doctor, I know how important it is to consult a doctor. You're supposed to avoid chemicals, paracetamol etc during your pregnancy and Self medication can really put you and your kid in danger.
